like—have you read Heinlein's _The Number of the Beast_? it's not exactly good but it has an interesting multiverse theory—just one or two degrees off on one of the axes, is a universe where JD wrote that line.
IIRC the main character's first interaction with his love interest, who he sweeps off her feet and marries almost immediately, is a joke about how big yet perky her tits are? I also read it as a teen, then later was like "…oh, this is gross as HELL."
