I just feel like, not only DOESN'T the President have the power to tell Congress how to conduct its business, but we absolutely shouldn't WANT him to, no matter who holds the office.

I just saw someone call Biden a liar for saying he supports trans people, on the grounds that he didn't eliminate the filibuster to pass the Equality Act, and I'd really like to know where people got the idea that the President sets the Senate rules and controls what bills pass
