then, of course, while Basil was gone Bill decided he kind of liked getting all the profits himself, so he went back on his agreement, and in retaliation Basil opened Bill's across town.
their menus were basically identical, of course. I think maybe only Basil's remains now, but when I was a student there we'd happily go to either one. I don't think there were really Bill or Basil partisans, at least not on campus.

well, there may have been some, it's been a long time. I also wasn't partly because I was never 100% sure which brother had stayed and which had left (and I'm still not sure I didn't get them switched around in this telling)
