As long as we're talking about redistricting based on the census let's talk about how the size of the House of Representatives hasn't increased since 1913, when the population was about 97 million people, so (on average) each Member represented ~222k citizens

Today, each Member of the House represents on average about 760k people. By contrast, in other major western democracies, each Member of Parliament usually represents on average about 100-120k people.

My proposal is simple: pass legislation to immediately increase the size of the House to 2,021 Representatives (need an odd number to avoid ties!) and furthermore to automatically adjust the size of the body after every census, to keep the ratio between 160–170k people per Member
