changing topics, does anyone have a favorite homemade hummus recipe? I have a jar of tahini and a can of chickpeas that have been sitting in my cabinet waiting to be used.

Then 5 tablespoons of the tahini. Then the juice of 1 1/2 to 2 lemons and a good splash of olive oil. Also of course 5 or so cloves of garlic.
OK, so since this is you, I can actually trust the listed garlic amount :-)

Unless your cloves are v small, this will be a reasonably garlicky hummus.
