changing topics, does anyone have a favorite homemade hummus recipe? I have a jar of tahini and a can of chickpeas that have been sitting in my cabinet waiting to be used.
I have a stick blender with a food processor attachment! I am hopeful that it is big enough.

That will handle half a can of chick peas. It is also quite possible to use a bar blender.

I have a Waring Blendor, with rocket-ship fins, that is older than my parents. It has an on/off switch, and that is all.

You can use a stick blender but start with the can you don’t drain and add the lemon and olive oil immediately and then the extra chickpeas and the garlic. Stick blenders do best with a lot of liquid ime.

it's not this one, but it's this kind of idea—smaller than a full-size food processor, but not just a thing you stick the stick blender intohttps://www.amazon.com/Braun-MQ537-Multiquick-Blender-Black/dp/B01N9R9UK5/ …
