is there something in the twitter water lately or what is the deal with people feeling the need to be loudly judgmental of others continuing to take covid precautions they, themselves, do not personally feel are strictly necessary, like do they know they could just _not_ tweet

it's pretty much fine IMO to be judgmental of people you think aren't taking _enough_ precautions, because depending on your risk calculus they might be putting you in danger. people taking _more_ precautions than you think they need aren't a problem for you to worry about.

once I'm two weeks past my second dose, I will personally be happy to gather indoors and maskless with friends who are also fully vaccinated, if they want to, and I will probably not wear a mask—but will have one with me—when I'm outdoors and not near people.

but I will certainly continue to put that mask on if I do get near people or if I go indoors at a store or whatever.

That's where I am, on my everyday. (I've been fully vaxxed since 3/22.) I bring one with me outdoors but only wear it if I'm near people (like waiting to cross a street at a busy intersection, or hanging out with a mixed group) or to go indoors.

it's really not difficult! random strangers won't know whether I'm vaxed or not, and there's no reason for me to cause them unnecessary and easily avoidable stress, even if the "actual" risk is quite low.
