is there something in the twitter water lately or what is the deal with people feeling the need to be loudly judgmental of others continuing to take covid precautions they, themselves, do not personally feel are strictly necessary, like do they know they could just _not_ tweet
it's pretty much fine IMO to be judgmental of people you think aren't taking _enough_ precautions, because depending on your risk calculus they might be putting you in danger. people taking _more_ precautions than you think they need aren't a problem for you to worry about.
once I'm two weeks past my second dose, I will personally be happy to gather indoors and maskless with friends who are also fully vaccinated, if they want to, and I will probably not wear a mask—but will have one with me—when I'm outdoors and not near people.
but I will certainly continue to put that mask on if I do get near people or if I go indoors at a store or whatever.
this just seems like common sense and common courtesy to me.
but of course, as I've argued a couple times, what's really going on with people who get annoyed that others are "still being too cautious" about covid is that they're reacting defensively to a perception that others' caution constitutes a rebuke of THEM.
