I have a great fondness for chickens, my folks kept chickens when I was a kid, though the coop they built in our backyard was…not as picturesque as yours. didn't have a lantern, for example.

Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Araucanas…whenever we went to the county fair they always made sure my brother and I came along to see the prize chickens in the livestock tents.
