    Karnofsky pawn shop, big piece of music history lost - young Louis Armstrong bought his first coronet there and worked for the family.

    An entire building has just collapsed in New Orleans. These pictures were taken less than 2 hours apart, the first at 5pm and the other at 6:50pm.

    situation for folx in the path of hurricane ida is not good. many roads are impassable, power is out in nola, hospitals are damaged, and the situation is v dangerous for the unhoused folx w/ nowhere to go. we are RTing mutual aid resources & requests solidarity, not charity

    Why does the CDC say ppl who are at high risk should wear a mask? Why are we as a country so focused on ourselves and not each other? You need to wear a mask if anyone you might share space with is high risk. Do it for the most vulnerable in your community- not just for yourself!
