By “this year,” I meant in 2021. The race is already in full swing. Sorry for any confusion.

At arraignments, the DA’s office dropped the felony to a misdemeanor—Assault in the third degree. If there hadn’t been this attention, that *never would have happened. The DAs office wrote the complaint hours earlier. Outside of court advocacy matters.https://twitter.com/jangelooff/status/1292215086732386304?s=21 …https://twitter.com/jangelooff/status/1292215086732386304 …

Clearly overcharged by a mile. But do you condone this behavior? Or are you satisfied seeing New York disintegrate into mayhem and lawlessness?

Only here to add my abhorrence. And that, as a resident of Schenectady County, I infer from ‘the county and state of New York’ that the Manhattan DA does not believe any other county in the state exists?

"Manhattan" = New York County. "the County and State of New York" is being used correctly.

from my experience it's been the policy of
@ManhattanDA to also bring non-criminal cases into municipal criminal court in violation of right to indictment in all criminal cases. I should know. I've had multiple cases thrown out just by asking for an indictment from grand jury.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
