Screening for what? Every person coming from all 25 countries? Everyone with a cough from Asia? In a week, it won’t matter if you are coming from China or not. And testing is not 100% either.
Strategies to prevent entry of #coronavirus into U.S. are smart critical steps. But we should also work from posture that assumes some index cases already arrived undetected and virus now circulating. Key to limiting outbreaks will be broadening screening guidance to physicians.

We could stagger intentional exposure to volunteer healthy HCWers so that we are infected, recover and actually become immune and able to work again by the time this hits the public in force. Old school vaccination style. And it would save on PPE of HCWers when this really hits.

I thought "no symptoms" during first 2-14 days really meant "no symptoms." Do you know of any signs or symptoms or tests that can be performed by physicians during that initial stage where the patient still may not know they are sick and no obv. outward signs?
