    In 2016, there was no vetting. And US media did the Trump’s campaign work for them, by day after day reporting on the details of stolen emails. We need more responsibility from media leadership. This will mean eschewing scoops to vet information to see if they are being used.

    3/ That leaves the unanswered ones: Can you accept dirt from authoritarian govts? Can that dirt be stolen or hacked by those govts? Who is to vet the dirt, if anyone, to assess whether it’s credible?

    Hunter Biden is not on trial. He has nothing of which to clear himself. Even if there was a real corruption concern, Trump decided to outsource an investigation to a foreign government and then lied to and obstructed Congress. Trump's behavior is on trial, not his motives.

    QUESTION: "Is Hunter Biden a relevant witness, Senator?" MANCHIN: "You know, I think so. I really do. I don't have a problem there, because this is why we are where we are. Now, I think that he can clear himself, what I know and what I've heard."

    Going cashless shouldn’t be so hard for so many. It’s time that we make it easier to get access to banks. Fee free checking accounts must be federally mandated. There would still be a trust issue, but we can make it so that everyone who wants access to a bank can have access.

    To be clear, the south does not represent "half the county." Southern states represent about 37% of the population. Rural populations represent about 20% of the country. Pretending that we're "insulting half the country" is true or in good faith is only giving up ground

    Remember what Rubin was like during the Obama administration and then look at how she has changed her tune.

    They cannot sit in their seats. They read books during the trial. They pass notes during the sessions. They pretend not to hear any wrongdoing. They pretend not to learn anything. Now they pretend to be offended. It's journalistic malpractice to take this seriously.
