The White House is the one that’s doing the stonewalling. As I write today, Trump is imitating a tried and true authoritarian tactic—investigate the investigators—to escape accountability: https://wapo.st/2IUWtlb  https://twitter.com/brithume/status/998670637139972097 …

He is letting the investigation conclude. And I'm fairly sure innocent people resist attempts to jail them. Do innocent people act differently where you are?

yes. for example, when innocent people get approached by kremlin operatives to set up a june 2016 meeting in trump tower, innocent people go to the fbi to report it.

Get your facts straight. No one knew a "Kremlin operative" was going to be there.

read the email to donald jr. from goldstone. on top of this, fbi approached the campaign in july 2016 to warn them the kremlin might be trying to influence and they still said nothing. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/07/11/us/politics/donald-trump-jr-email-text.html …pic.twitter.com/DaPz0Z7iGy

No Kremlin operative mentioned. I would have attended that meeting. No law against hearing information. If anything Putin-related or illegal happened, then report to FBI. (After you learn the info.)

your argument is the words "kremlin operative" was not explicitly mentioned....? "this is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of russia and its government's support for mr. trump." oh ok cool. if it's what you say, i love it.pic.twitter.com/zMAaCba3RB

You must be a Nunes supporter, too. He didn't find what he carefully avoided looking for, too. Except you should know better. His excuse is that he's an obvious brown-noser. Yours is..?

Then you'd be in the same pickle Trump's in: People don't give the benefit of the doubt to those willing to align w/ a foreign gov't against their own people. And those who do, stop giving the benefit of the doubt when you lie about it over & over & over. Zero credibility left.

If your campaign solicits or accepts any "thing of value"--such as dirt on your political opponent--from a foreign national, then it has violated federal campaign finance law. An agreement to violate the law is a criminal conspiracy.http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/07/interview-with-robert-bauer-about-donald-trump-jr-s-emails.html …

The email mentioned that the crown prosecuter of Russia was part of the meeting/Intel. This was a pretty clear indication that a highly connected Russian/Kremlin operative was involved. So I disagree with you on this Scott.

Furthermore, the Trump team was warned by the FBI for suspicious activity & to report it. So what you are saying, Scott, is that if the FBI warned you about something like this, this looks rather suspicious and Russian connected), you wouldn’t report it? That’s pretty f’d up!
