This is my tweet summarizing my theory (thread): https://twitter.com/BadgerPundit/status/998605086745079813 … I don't think wanting "options" explains the frenetic activity, at a time when Trump was viewed as a loser. I'm arguing spying was mainly *because* of DOJ leniency toward Hillary. The two are linked.

My theory was prompted in part by your videos in late 2016, early 2017, giving Comey the benefit of the doubt, as having proceeded on the idea that a DOJ indictment shouldn't determine the result of a presidential race -- the people, after being informed of basics, should decide.

For readers: this is the "options" theory to which I think Scott is referring (reply of

No, not searching for options. They were crafting the standard insurance policy, when they stumbled on the truth. While spying (on I believe Manafort), they learned Trump internal polls had him up in "Blue States". Panic set in. Panic kills!

Here's what I don't get, though. You're saying Trump (via Manafort) knew he was winning the "blue states." The FBI knew (via Manafort) and panicked, and launched a scheme to tie Trump to a corrupt Russian deal. But Hillary didn't know. Why didn't anyone tell Hillary? Seriously.
