What's the context of him calling Mexicans "murderers and rapists" on the campaign trail? Or asking if there were any hispanics present at a rally? Or the context of him refusing to denounce actual Nazis and White Supremacists? The ethos of the speaker is established by his past

Same problem. You got hoaxed by the media. There are perhaps eight separate hoaxes on the same topic.

Sorry, but I think the "Master Wizard" has you fooled and I respectfully disagree. History will be the final judge of the Trump administration and the folks calling for a "final solution" to people who don't share their worldview are a sad audience to have.

You disagree based on what? You "just know" it's wrong? Go read the quote yourself. It absolutely was the media quoting out of context and lying. And there are literally hundreds of examples. That's why you're so filled with irrational hate. They deliberately manipulate you.

Not filled with hate at all. That's a false assumption on your part. It's too convenient for me to believe that every Trump quote about race is taken out of context or is "fake news" when I read the entire transcript myself. Even before becoming President he had a troubling past.

That’s how confirmation bias works. Looks identical to your experience. Once you learn that, you’re a free thinker.

No, that's not how it works. Even the awareness of bias doesn't prevent it. We're master rationalizers. Disciplined, humble use of reason is our best, though imperfect, remedy.

Agreed. And in the context of controlled experiments, works great. In the sloppy real world, we only imagine we are rational.

Pure reason by itself cannot lead to wisdom or understanding, a lack of bias or a lack of error. Evidence must always be gathered as a means of sorting wrong from right.

If we could tell the difference between real data and fake, your world view would be correct. But we can’t. Except in controlled experiments.
