@ScottAdamsSays I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, and I may be way behind the curve, but is the Simultaneous Sip a pacing and leading technique? It’s odd to me that I didn’t make the connection for so long which probably means it’s a really good tool.

Ahh good to know the proper name for it, I knew it looked like some examples from “How to fail” and “Win Bigly” and at this point I figure anything I see you do that is outside the norm is likely a persuasion technique. Thank you sir!

It's also torture, ever notice how he raises his cup then makes you wait for the sip! Does make it taste all the better though. Anticipation persuasion.

I did actually notice the slight delay he makes. I watch on delay so I’m not actually drinking coffee usually so I miss out on that part of the conditioning.

Speaking of .... .... next time when you watch The Five and hear
@greggutfeld mention Scott's name, watch what ALL the other members do: 1. Laugh derisively; 2. Pick up their mugs simultaneously and take a sip of their beverage. I've seen this happen twice. Pretty funny.

My favorite part is the “ahhhh” that follows the simultaneous sip. I laugh every time and do it myself.
