dont you think this is kind of a dangerous precedent to set? there is a statue of teddy roosevelt outside a museum here in New York that lots of people are offended by, does that really mean we should take it down?

it's not slippery slope, the same [exact] logic used to justify taking down confederate statues could be used against those figures. its not a stretch of or extension of the logic being used, it's just applying the principle universally, as it would be applied if we accept it.
