Why are you guys all being mean to each other? I dislike seeing 4 artists I greatly admire fight. I wish we all could get along.

For the record, I’m only being mean to Scott Adams. Perhaps it’s small of me, but the guy has been a douchebag for a long, long time. I don’t think anyone else was making fun of each other.

I watched some of
@ScottAdamsSays vids and he says his politics are left of Bernie, he disagrees with Trump on healthcare and gives Trump an F on race relations. It seems scotts on the same page with Dems about a lot yet many of us dont get along with him so its confusing

1) Its simple, Geoff. Scott's creating a structure which enables Trump to evade the meaning of his words by claiming humo when in fact its just another bully saying something hateful, then reframing it.

2) Trump talks about "grabbing pussy" & its just reframed as "locker room talk". He says he prefers heroes who are't captured, and its refrained as "a joke." Now the interesting/subtle part of this is that Trump can be quite humorous when being cruel, as many bullies are-- BUT

3) The fact that Trump exhibits comic timing, comic form, doesn't change the fact that he doesn't use these techniques for the power of shared laughter, but rather uses them, like bullies have for eons, as an exercise in ridicule & alienation.

I agree. and he rarely apologizes. yeah a horrible joke. Big mistake to say. And just inappropriate. Bad judgement. Mean. Bullies might see their behavior as a joke and to them it may be a joke but that doesn't excuse it to the rest of us.

How does a private citizen (Candidate Trump) bully a senior senator with words? I'm not sure bullying means the same to me as it does to you.

i dont think its accurate to say Trump was less powerful than McCain at the time. and whatever war on words they were in, Trump didn't like it so he was using a joke (a bad, mean one and a mistake) to "jokingly" intimidate him. Jokes can still be intimidation.

Why r you calling his remark about McCain being captured a joke? Is it a joke whenever he says anything outrageous? Everyday? Is the only time he's not joking when his words r on teleprompter? Should we call his whole presidency a joke & accept living in performance art piece?!
