You bias is out of this world, saying that the NK-show (it was a show, it was never a real threat) is of more importance and transcendent than the fall of the Soviet Union is more than a clear example. I mean... Really??? smh

More important to our psychology, not to geopolitics.

First of all, thanks for taking time to respond. Well, this presents a lot of bias as well since it seems to me you are projecting your psychology to everyone else.

I'm speculating, of course. The fall of the Soviet Union was a bigger deal, but we were not in immediate danger of nuclear war as we were with North Korea. So NK FEELS like a bigger deal, and will influence thoughts more.

I disagree, there was never any threat of nuclear conflict so long as the US didn't strike first. You don't go from brink of nuclear conflict to BFFs in a couple months, it was all a show. Also, I think you downplay the ideological repercussions of the fall of Soviet Union.
