@ScottAdamsSays interface itself is a cool idea, but it feels like using tokens and crypto was shoehorned in because a tech guy thought it was cool.
Big barrier to using it! IMO people will want to just pop in their credit card to pay.

I know all the tech, just hard to use from user perspective. I guess eventually the app will take credit cards and hide the token innards

It truly is a barrier. I deal in ecommerce and any friction lowers conversion significantly. You could verify contracts other ways and take cash. Also I’m not comfortable paying/accepting payments that fluctuate in value.

1) It lowers friction for lots of new services that are becoming available. 2) Payments already fluctuate in value, this is more obvious for non US Dollar currencies, but true for the dollar as well.

If I charge usd I want usd. Cross currency (crypto or otherwise) is a big pain. Cryptocurrency is the hammer everything is a nail.
