Your hallucinations are noted. Get back to me when any of this is about me.

Its not a hallucination, months ago when I complained about Trumps asset forfeiture you claimed you didn't address policy issues. I thought it was wise at the time, to avoid policy when defending Trump. I'm not hostile.

I notice that none of the Trump sycophants ever deal with any of the objections raised. Take just 2, Tariffs and asset forfeiture. 2 out of many proofs of debasement. This is how you get so called conservatives to be socialists, have Trump do it.

Tariffs are a negotiating tool. Asset forfeiture sounds bad but I’m not informed on the topic.

But the Tariffs actually are carried out & products Americans buy are going up because of this, in an environment where central bank policy has been harming the little guy & enriching the crony class. Asset forfeiture is government behaving as a criminal in the worst way.

What you're missing is the ratios. Its one unit of benefit to the crony industry being helped and 1000 units of harm to every one who consumes goods and all of the industries being hurt. It is the epitome of crony gov. which the founding fathers hated.

Why don't you be more specific? What time period are you referring to? What are the comparative quantification's of what you are referring to? Protectionism DOESN'T protect anything. It is 1 unit of benefit for 1000 units of negativity. Why do you think economists hate it?

Economists hate trade wars. But no one hates using the threat of a trade war as a negotiating tool.

Most people don't even understand the concept that what is being negotiated is foolish. The idea that "dumping" is bad doesn't even make sense. If China dumped gold at 1 $ an ounce people should just buy all they can. Dim politicians would try to stop it.

Take steel for instance. (there isn't really steel dumping going on btw) If there is steel "dumping" then the USA benefits as all consumers get their products for cheaper. All businesses who purchase steel benefit. Tariffs provide 1 unit of relief versus 1000 units of damage.

Pushing tariffs when you have the worlds largest debt ever amassed in history is poor policy. The debt creates increased cost of living & keeping cheap goods out of the country hurts the poor & middle classes. Trade has done more to eliminate poverty worldwide than anything else.

To sum it all up, trade negotiating is being done by people who barely understand economics. There doesn't need to be *any* trade deals. The best results come from total unrestricted trade. Free trade eliminated 80% of poverty worldwide in the last 20 years. (Cato Institute)
