Fact check this: If a new law says police can temporarily seize a citizen's weapon when a clear and immediate danger is identified, that BECOMES due process. It is not ignoring due process. @POTUS

A vague law of clear and present danger will be abused by law enforcement to grab people’s guns and take their ability to defend themselves away. Then the real due process in the court will have to take place for the person to get their rights back.

Yes, there is some risk of overreach and abuse that must be weighed against a greater risk of imminent bodily harm.
