Fact check this: If a new law says police can temporarily seize a citizen's weapon when a clear and immediate danger is identified, that BECOMES due process. It is not ignoring due process. @POTUS

Im not a lawyer so I dont know all the ins and outs of arrest procedures, but its my understanding that there are many restrictions on LEOs to protect civilians and insure due process, like the necessity of search warrants and etc. Its not as binary as you are making it out to be
