How many teachers would volunteer to carry a gun at work, after training, for an extra $10K per year? Cheaper than adding security guards. #SchoolShooting

One or two guy, usually unarmed. There are usually 1 or 2 armed resource officers provided by police departments. Armed guards are next level expensive.
-
If they are contracted from an agency, which would be the smart way to go, the agency would be responsible, and would have to provide a bond to the school district.

Trump would have to give up his wall to pay for it

Where are the guns kept? Which teachers get guns? Pistols? vs Attackers with an AR-15? Only in America could this be a live idea

Rifles have an advantage at a distance, but why wouldn’t a pistol be equal to a rifle in a room’s length of distance?

Apparently, Florida recently reduced the number of guards overall because they refused to increase the 64 million they were paying for their skeleton crews.

How about we make every American who owns an automatic rifle take out and maintain $1 million liability insurance policy? Oh, you say insurance companies would refuse to write those policies? Ask yourself why.

Speaking as one of the people who underwrite liability insurance I do not think we could charge enough to pay for a teacher who accidentally shoots a student with his concealed weapon. And it will happen because it’s accidents that keep us in business.

Does liability compensation change on how someone is killed? What’s the compensation of a kid who gets hit by a car outside of school? I’d have to say the odds of a kid being shot by a concealed carry teacher are probably going to be very low.
