For example, A halving of the price of a product leads to a 1.5 increase in revenue?

The climate sensitivity figure I quoted denotes an absolute change in temperature (1.5 degrees C to 4.5 degrees C) irrespective to the current temperature, unlike your economics example where the change in revenue in USD is different depending on the original revenue.

Ok. So if you halved global emmisions how much would the global mean temperature decrease?

Halving GHG concentrations would decrease temperatures by the same amount (1.5 to 4.5 degrees C).

And which option would save more lives: 1) reduce ghg - which power ambulances, hospitals, scientific research 2) stay the same.

I don't know for sure; all I can do is give a probabilistic forecast. If climate sensitivity is 1.5C, then mitigation is more expensive than adaptation. However, if sensitivity is 3C or greater, the opposite is true. There is a greater chance sensitivity is 3C than 2.5C.

you probably know that people are skeptical of "experts", there are too many vested interests and too many convincing liars. Scott Adams is followed because he correctly predicted trump would win, therefore, he is an expert. What is the track record of ipcc forecasts?

One tool in any master persuader's (including
@ScottAdamsSays) toolbox is confirmation bias.@ScottAdamsSays originally predicted that Trump would win in a landslide, which did not happen (Trump won in a squeaker). Yet,@ScottAdamsSays is heralded for his "correct" prediction.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

This prediction has not aged well either: http://blog.dilbert.com/2016/10/31/james-comey-as-seen-through-the-persuasion/ …

You think that prediction was wrong after today? Do you have access to news where you are?

Last I checked, nothing of significance was ever found on Weiner's computer.

It led to us to knowing Clinton’s most trusted aid was a security hole of epic proportions. Maybe you missed that story on CNN.
