I have to admit I overestimated the public’s capacity for embarrassment. Indeed they do still hate the damned Nazi who just recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.https://twitter.com/politicomag/status/946166459570573312 …

Maybe we can see past the cynical and don’t have a vested financial interest in being cheerleaders like you do?

You don't have a financial interest in the United States economy?

My financial interest is subordinate to my desire for a civil society that treats all its inhabitants with dignity and unlike you I don’t derive my income from cheerleading

Would you prefer the unemployed stay that way if it meant President Trump didn't insult CNN and other rich people on Twitter? Your priorities are a hot mess.

You know it’s a false dichotomy Scott. Your quest for rationalization has taken the subtlety and empathy out of your analysis.

His America has created a power vacuum on the world stage, ceded clean-tech victories to forward-looking nations, and crafted a lying tax bill that defrauds the future. You're a master of presentation, but are in a bubble of confirmation bias; perception isn't reality.

Power vacuum? Your imagination is precious. And America never slowed down on clean tech development.

You mean Trump's plans (1) haven't gone into effect, and (2) are being resisted. Solar & wind are now competitive, but it took subsidies to get them there. Without strong gov support, we'll miss the next wave. I know climate researchers seriously considering France's offer.
