4. Juvenile delinquency: It's easy to see negative downstream effects of juvenile delinquency that disproportionately affect black boys: Poor school performance, negative labels causing confirmation bias, starting the prison revolving door cycle... what else?

1. My thought: make more men marriageable by keeping them out of the criminal justice system and in school so they get and hold good jobs. Then let biology do its work. Women who want husbands will have more eligible men to choose from.

3. Celebrate fatherhood as a society. You can’t even find a single healthy, intelligent, competent father figure in the media these days. That has to have some effect on how much men want to be fathers and how much women want a husband.

If society destroyed it, society could rebuild it because it’s a core part of human nature. It’s an archetype. It’s not ever going away - it’s just currently being suppressed. But at the very least we can stop demeaning it.
