Gonna pull this card: if you try to analyze all the research & data there are mostly 2 conclusion: babies need mothers from ages 0 to about 2; after that the biggest need is stability/ consistency. Doesn't matter whom exactly...https://twitter.com/JasonL3d/status/940610156949397504 …

Could certainly be a stable single parent. It’s just easier to have a stable situation with two (or more) adults, especially for the less educated population, due to mutual support, economies of scale, and multiple sources of income.https://twitter.com/jasonl3d/status/940609117315649536 …

      9. I'm also not suggesting that it only works for a father-mother arrangement; it's just that the majority of the population is heterosexual so this addresses the largest population segment. Two parents seems to be better than one, regardless of the nuances.

I question your stability assumption. One good parent beats one good and one bad.

2 stable (and consistent) parents are better than one stable parent. However insert extended family/ realtives, friends, household, neighborhood, church, etc. Single mothethood, bad neighborhood, inconsistent or unreliable family = all toxic... No easy fix. But, BLM may help!

That’s true in many cases. Here I’m referring primarily to the financially struggling population. Once a family reaches a certain level of income, stability is less dependent on two parents. But to a poverty level family the financial considerations matter more.
