Scott talking about Scott in the 3rd person is what calls attention to Scott.
This is interesting to @Twitt_Itches:https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2017/07/29/to-get-a-grip-refer-to-yourself-in-the-third-person-study-says/#13abc723557b …

Scott has a check behind his NAME. Best branding on Twitter. So, according to the article, is Scott doing it for himself,or is he a toddler?

I suggest perhaps the part of the article that discussed branding would be more germane to the discussion. Unless you were just being a dick

My point was how does the 2nd Scott Adams a hairsbreadth below the 1st, increase branding? In my opinion it didn't, so why else do it?

The periscopes are called Coffee with Scott Adams. The titles are Scott Adams tells you this or that. Callback to the show name.

Alright, I will concede that. It's just I see a pattern of haughtiness. He is reliably correct, but also reliably conceited. This had built up

Like I said it calls attention. From a branding perspective, confidence is key. "I could be wrong, but" is no way to get anybody to listen.

It's not the confidence in his predictions that bothers me,its his smugness afterwards. There is a difference between confident and conceited

There's less difference between confidence and smugness or conceit than you think. Confidence is projected and the other two are perceived.

Confidence is also perceived not projected. To others it may appear as conceit. How does master of manipulation make that mistake?

It's not a mistake. It's why you can't stop talking about me.

I'll take that as a compliment. My initial statement stands.
