@ScottAdamsSays It's a problem of the public misunderstanding what science is. "What it actually is" can't do the things ppl says it does.

@DrPhiltill I think science needs to improve its communication. You blame only media and schools? I say all three, led by science.

@ScottAdamsSays when you say "science" you mean "the science community". We can't have confidence in science until we know what it isn't.

@ScottAdamsSays No, you made that clear :) but the public's misunderstanding of "science" is the root cause of what you're discussing.

@ScottAdamsSays Ppl can have confidence in the process that takes time via brutal peer review, etc, not necessarily its individual parts.

@ScottAdamsSays So when individual scientists make claims based on their use of experimental method, it isn't science making the claim.
