@PhilipHorigan Source is wrong. Whispering tires you, but not your vocal cords. Surgery separated my brain from cords and I could whisper.
@PhilipHorigan Or just hum then whisper and you can see for yourself your vocal cords are not involved in the latter.

@ScottAdamsSays So my guess is that most people "by habit" bring their chords into it or don't know how to whisper in the correct way. -
