How much of the $2.5 trillion infrastructure bill goes to helping poor people get proper government IDs so they can participate in modern society?

With respect, it isn’t.

There is quite a bit of spending in the bill which is not for pure hardware infrastructure so ensuring everyone can have easier access to all sorts of government and financial services would seem to fit perfectly with the “theme” of investment that Biden has chosen for the bill.

Conflating voting with fixing roads and bridges is a mistake. It will do nothing but put lives as risk and undermine the growth of our economy. Just like w Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Dems don’t want to fix the problem, they want the issue.

Guessing you have not seen the bill as proposed.

Shouldn’t the states passing these laws legally have to provide these IDs free since not doing so would be akin to a poll tax?
