Given that the Amish are at 90% herd immunity, as recently reported, without using masks or social distancing, does that confirm for you that masks and/or social distancing work?

Yes. A great idea, but no one should force you to wear one.

Seatbelts were designed to protect people at the scene of a car accident from flying human projectiles, right?

There is a lot more evidence in support of seatbelts than there is suggesting lockdowns and social distancing work...

Yes, the federal gov’t has frozen automobile safety in time and technology ignoring breakthroughs like Mercedes’. Airbags are one-hit technology–dangerous (FL policeman’s death in car with recording device). “Don’t make a federal case out of it” now blocks safety improvements.

No. Not like seatbelts. Seatbelts have been directly shown to save lives and reduce injuries. It is understood why that would be the case. The studies on masks are all over the place. It's unclear how it works. Comparing to seatbelts is ridiculous.

I know people that don't use them despite the blaring sound of the seatbelt warning. Although it's more rare these days.

I always use my turn signal even when nobody is around — for the boomers — who take everything too seriously. Scott accepted the “virus” as fate once he started using terminology like “superspreader” and “viral load”
