A vaccine passport allows us to reopen the economy faster and at lower risk. I don't trust anyone, much less a government, and even I see no evidence to suspect nefarious reasons in this case.https://twitter.com/kylenabecker/status/1376385553923473411 …

I was thinking about getting the vaccine until the government came up with this "vaccine passport" shit and convince me there's some nefarious business going on with it. Count me out, comrades. Stick your internal passport up your asses.

You left out the reasons. Everyone else will too. What's that tell you?

Literally no one has trouble describing why a vaccine passport is a dreadful idea. You just aren't looking.

          1) If passport required for COVID-19, what about all other coronaviruses and "potential contagions"? 2) It is unnecessarily invasive and likely unconstitutional. 3) Would require effectively publicly disclosing health status.

          1) That's not an argument. 2) Speculation. 3) As in the case of background checks when buying a gun, health checks when donating blood, travelling to foreign countries that require vaccination, and probably two dozen occasions.

There are plenty of reasons. You just ignore them because you don’t like them, not because they haven’t been stated or they don’t exist. Florida didn’t need a passport to stay open. Why give the government unnecessary power when we know it will be abused?

We didn't think we needed to include the reason I DONT WANT TO INJECT AN AGGRESSIVE SUBSTANCE IN MY BODY as a reason. I'm sick enough already. Wtf, how can you miss that?

No one is bothering to explain because the obvious reason is power corrupts and we've already seen over the last 6 months what it looks like when tech companies are allowed to secretly collude to take people out of the public discourse (or in this case, public life/association).

If the government wants to force you against you’re will to have a vaccine in order to travel, it will lead to needing one to buy food (and I guarantee you this WILL happen) that’s nefarious enough - intentions be damned, how about the unintended consequences

Forcing people to undergo medical procedures and show ID proving it in order to buy groceries isn't returning to normalcy.
