Mass shootings are a predictable outcome of gun ownership. Those tragedies are the price of protecting the public from its own government. Is that price worth the benefit?

This is usually the part where someone points out that citizen with guns are no match for a government with nukes and tanks. That's the wrong argument. If the government turns on citizens, citizens will go after the families of government officials and even the military.
