Sometimes, you see people rejecting Rapid Antigen Tests with the argument that these tests might have a high false-positive rate if applied en masse in rather low infection settings. That's poor reasoning, as it doesn't consider any trade-offs at all. @michaelmina_lab 1/n

False negatives not false positives is the problem. Remember the October outbreak in the White House. By some reports it was caused by switching to rapid anti-gen tests.

Can't compare a White House that CAN do high quality testing every day to schools that don't have that option.
