Trump said he wasn’t defending the Charlottesville white supremacists after spending the week defending them, which canceled out the fact that he was defending them. He could have also chosen to say it was Opposite Day since we are operating by elementary school playground rules.

I watched the whole thing play out over the course of a week. He defended them and made false equivocations, then stated at the end that he wasn’t doing that. It’s like carjacking someone and yelling, “I respect personal property!” out the window as you drive away. It’s a wash!

No, you didn't watch it. You saw the hoax edits. Anyone who sees the full videos knows it is a hoax. (The Senate played the whole video recently to debunk it.)
