Can someone who believes masks and distancing don't help for coronavirus explain why ordinary seasonal flu numbers basically dropped to zero this year? What's the theory to explain both beliefs?

I don't believe flu deaths have dropped to basically zero. Far greater chance it's an accounting error. I also believe masks and social distancing are effective.

Most transmissions are happening at home. Of course, adding any type of resistance (ie. masks) will reduce spread. The virus is in water molecules which can be caught by a mask.

Most transmissions happen where people are. They are mostly home.

Did that question make sense when you asked it?
