Can someone who believes masks and distancing don't help for coronavirus explain why ordinary seasonal flu numbers basically dropped to zero this year? What's the theory to explain both beliefs?

Bizarre to think masks do nothing. Seems logical that mask efficacy is a product of type of mask, length of exposure, proximity and air circulation. The same deniers would probably wear a mask in a direct encounter with infectious people, pre-pandemic (pre-mask politicalization).

Republicans also follow the science..the scientists who say this is curable and are silenced by big tech for even suggesting we don't need to be masking up. 2020 US Death count rate is similar to previous years...If Covid is so deadly, why not a significant spike?
