It's easy to see the future on this one. Fentanyl in Floyd's system makes a murder conviction of any kind unlikely. Riots are coming.https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1368906361485017090 …

Maybe they should make them all watch 12 angry men before hand

Yes and you only need one to go against the grains to make it a mistrial. I hope this trial is done professionally, all the jury is kept secret so no blowback on their decision.

How can this be a fair trial? Every juror will know that a not-guilty verdict will result in massive rioting. Not to mention they might be targeted if their identity is released.

Always is. The jury system, while romantic, is not functional/just. “Peers” is a joke. Random folk knowing nothing about the law deciding life & death matters after days/weeks of legalese maneuvering, endless evidentiary rambling—so flawed. But it’s cherished. Revered. I get it.

Ya think it’s gonna’ come up that Floyd and Chauvin were good friends? That they worked together. It’s stuff like that people didn’t want to talk about at all.

Indeed. As a defense attorney, if you have an actual impartial jury it’s a no brainer. However with the pressure they will be under I see some kind of conviction either way. Maybe a lesser included. They won’t give him a not guilty. 0% change
