Truth. It’s an IV Vitamin D. However, keeping one’s vit D (actually a hormone precursor, not a Vitamin) levels in the optimal range year round appears to reduce incidence and severity of a host of ailments.

I believe it’s a bit more complex than that. Often, the reason why 25(OH)D drops is not only lack of sun exposure or dietary intake. Gut-visceral fat derived chronic inflammation can deplete it as well.
