Can someone do a fact-check on the claim that "healthy" children die of seasonal flu? Is it more likely an underlying problem not detected?https://twitter.com/rebekah_diamond/status/1363627257902866433 …

Why haven’t all children died of the flu?

This immunological mouse model is speculating that an overactive immune response is what contributes to death in healthy patients. I cited the article for the statistic that 50% of children <5 that died from flu are previously healthy.

You really don't have a clue on how the immune system develops, do you?

So yours is the classic "No True Scotsman" argument. Those who die from influenza by definition don't have normal immune systems? That's ridiculous.

Such a misunderstanding of the facts of the article. The deaths are thought to be due to an overreaction of the immune system. We see similar issues w/ corona virus & young patients. You are so focused on skeptical questioning, but maybe start with adequate reading comprehension

At the risk of should-ing on myself... An agreement on the definition of "healthy" (as you have here) SHOULD help illustrate the original point vs trigger further emotional response.
