If a Bubble Boy with no immune system leaves the bubble and immediately gets an infection and dies, is the cause of death the infection or is it leaving the bubble and having no immune system? Discuss.

Infection and leaving the bubble have to be considered as contributing causes. Can't be seen as a single cause event.

If an infection penetrated the bubble, would you rule faulty bubble as cause of death? I assume not and infection would be cause of death.

It was his choice knowing the harms it could cause then it's his own fault IMO

Sounds sort of like a Monty Hall problem, conditions become more clear if we narrow the focus. My toast burns, my shower is cold, I can't find my keys. I hurry to work and miss a stop sign, getting hit by a truck. What is the cause? Toast, keys, shower, inattention?

I like the nuance of this comment on the subject. Only problem, the things you listed are not something you could necessarily control. Leaving the bubble which you were medically confined to as supposed to the accident of which you could not for see happening is the difference.

Car crashes are random, , but the car crash is still listed as the cause of death.
