@ScottAdamsSays “ice sheet and glacier growth in North America and shifts in major wind belts and tropical storm systems could be traced back to the period of the magnetic pole switch, which scientists named the "Adams Event." “https://apple.news/AOtNO7V9DR_KjZokbzxzToA …

The magnetic poles have been reversing every 50,000 years or so, since the Earth cooled. Its happened thousands of times before and it will keep happening till the end of the Earth.

Trying to understand how this happened to Neanderthals. As far as I know, they did not have the "carbon footprint" we do. But it happened to them. But I'm supposed to believe that somehow if we change our carbon footprint it will stop this from occurring again. Nonsense.

I have been reading about the magnetic poles shifting for several years. I am just grateful it doesn't happen quickly.
-
It will happen quickly. The northern magnetic pole will move slowly south, then there will be the breakdown of the magnetic field strength all over the world, then at the point of field dissolution the magnetic poles will quickly swap and the magnetic field will stabilize.
