Everything I’ve read says the Texas power failures are due to frozen ground temps that created problems pulling natural gas from underground. Why are windmills blamed when they produce a small % of Texas electricity? In Chicagoland windmills do fine in cold and it’s colder here.

Again, my question is why are windmills being blamed? Everything I’ve read out of Texas, and beyond says windmills only generate 25% of Texas energy. They’re saying frozen ground temps caused problems pulling natural gas from the ground. How are ppl overlooking that?
