Still her description of the Trump plan is a straw man. They weren’t “leaving it up to the states to figure it out.” They were ramping up the same supply chains that provide millions of flu shots a year. Why would a gov run central vax site be better in any way than my local CVS?

She also says "there is no stockpile" of vaccines...which are being produced for the first time after an historic public/private partnership to develop them. Of course there is no stockpile. We are distributing the vaccine as quickly as it is produced.

I was wondering about that. I've read stories about people complaining that they aren't able to distribute vaccines before expiration under complex distribution rules. National distribution plans and stockpiles sound like a good way to make the problem worse.pic.twitter.com/TwApg3aiiq
