There is a missing data piece for us, which is what happens between precinct upload and Edison data. I've never heard of a precinct having access to a nationwide count where their count is viewable alongside all others. Great question: Why can't we all see that?

No. In Ga, each precinct printed out the results from each scanner, but the precincts don't have access to early voting or absentee voting results. This year, it is my understanding that counties uploaded data to the SOS & received from SOS what the totals were.
