I saw an interview with the viking horned protestor and he was asked why he was there. He looked right at the reporter and said, "Fweedom." He doesn't even know what the word means, but he knows it is important, and he needs it. It was poignant, that's all I'm saying.

Did #Trump incite violence on Capitol Hill? Many seem to think so. But I just read through his speech and can’t, for the life of me, rationally come to that conclusion. I’ll walk you through it so you can see what I mean. 1/

You don't have to wonder what his words did. We can observe it.

I agree with you, he needs to resign. Will you tweet your white board from yesterday's periscope listing all who should resign and why?

Which words? Why didn’t his calls for non-violence do anything? Why did everyone ignore those words? Did Clinton’s words cause riots after Trump was elected? There were many. She called for people to fight. Does that mean she incited? Why is this ‘different’?pic.twitter.com/vVchHIRb6r

You still have to establish a causal relationship. I think it's more likely what he had been saying over the 2 months than just what he said that day. Particularly if it's true that this siege was planned online ahead of time.

I’d agree. But so far I’ve seen nothing but far-reaching arguments which ignore his literal words in favour of “well, what he actually meant was...” Which is garbage. Anyone can do that for any reason. It’s stupid. Ie: Clinton incited all those riots after Trump got elected.pic.twitter.com/p0yUnbi2u9

And once he saw what was happening it seems he didn't react appropriately to stop it

There were speakers set up who had a permit. Trump was telling them to go on to the next speaker peacefully.. There were people inside the capital before Trump even spoke. Others didn’t know what had occurred and followed others who were already in.
