That’s what I say about the electricity to your house. If the local energy company decides to ban you, just rub a balloon on your hair. You have options.https://twitter.com/FreezeGm/status/1347942623059861504 …

They still have free speech. They can spew their views, they just have to do it outside of someone else's house.

The local energy company is the sole provider of electricity. Twitter is not the sole provider of communication. I would call this a false equivalence.

Incorrect. The balloon is also a provider of electricity. Try to keep up.

I believe Trump has channels of communication that are degrees more powerful than a balloon to power my house. Haven’t tried the balloon yet though, will get back to you.

People have a choice then don’t they? They can abide by the rules laid down by the power company when they sign up or they can choose not to abide by those rules and use the ballon. Either way it’s their choice. No private company is obliged to accept someone’s custom. 🤷‍♀️

oddly one of the power companies TOS is that I pay them. If I break that TOS, they stop providing me service after a while.

It’s the same with my internet company. If they decide to ban me then I have options. I can move 5 miles away and get internet from another provider. FCC has ruled they’re not a monopoly after all.

Scott, this comment is a semantic game not a legitimate counterpoint. I don't want to mind read, but I'd guess you know that.

Utility companies have a duty to serve that has been established by statute / common law. Don can go make some precedent with Twitter if he is that concerned about it. I doubt Twitter will be seen as a basic necessity like electricity, though. Also he’s got some terrible lawyers.
